Our Milestone Process

Milestone 1

Meeting to capture:
• Requirements
• Duties
• Job description
• Advertising advice
• Discuss your competition
• Personal traits for the candidate
• Your team and leadership style.

Economic realities are discussed, such as benefits, relocation, and unique qualities of your company. We agree to an accountability process and time line.

Milestone 2

Pre-screen questions are developed by Career Consultations. Job descriptions and advertising are often re-written to attract more interest. A quick check assures we capture all the details to attract great candidates.

Milestone 3

Resume review begins. We fine tune the process.

Milestone 4

You receive pre-qualified candidates to review, contact or reject. Our partnership is based on clear, concise and speedy response. Developing interview guides may be part of this process to achieve the interview integrity for everyone in the process. Preparing each person on your interview team may be included. You will develop the technical questions, while we assist with the other aspects of the interview process.

Milestone 5

Interviews begin. We assure the candidate knows the time, place and process, such as whether the visit is a group interview or sequential discussion with team members.  Since most of our candidates are technical, they want to know as much detail as possible before they interview.

Milestone 6

Feedback is given to Career Consultations regarding the candidates. If a second interview needs to be scheduled, we facilitate as much as possible to maintain momentum.

Milestone 7

Collaboration occurs immediately after the interviews with the team. Career Consultations may be on site for the interview, if you are local. We meet, either as a team or with the hiring manager to decide on an offer. The salary is discussed with the appropriate individuals.  The offer and negotiations are choreographed appropriately.
